Transparency repository
Egidio claims that no communication content (calls, messages) ever leaves your phone. One more claim, on one more website, proves nothing. That's why we publish a free, public repository that lets anyone — researcher, journalist, curious developer — verify that promise without having to take our word for it.
What's in the repository
- The app's exact network architecture: the complete list of what leaves the device, and under what circumstance, with no gray areas.
- Source code excerpts touching the network layer, published in full — not a cherry-picked selection that flatters our claims.
- An independent verification protocol, runnable by anyone against the actual APK distributed on the Play Store — not a special build prepared for the occasion.
- A few generic tools from our internal tooling (search indexing, sitemap generation, validation), published as an example of our coding practice.
What stays closed, and why
The anti-fraud detection engine — its rules, its calibration thresholds, its signature corpus — is not published. This isn't a shameful secret: it's the same logic that keeps an antivirus from publishing its virus signatures in plain text. Publishing it would hand fraudsters the exact playbook to bypass the protection. What we do owe you is proof that nothing leaves your phone — that's exactly what this repository is for.
