- Suspicious login link: always verify the URL is actually discord.com before entering credentials.
- A gift or gain that's too generous from a recent or barely active account.
- Request to connect a crypto wallet to an external site to "claim" a gain.
- A friend's message with an unusual tone: their account may be compromised.
- A file or bot to run proposed by a stranger, even inside a legitimate server.

- Never click a "claim your gift" link received via direct message.
- Never connect a wallet holding funds to an unverified site.
- If credentials were entered on a fake site, change your Discord password immediately and enable two-factor authentication.
